Logic, who’s last project was named our top DMV mixtape of 2011, has release a new music video for a track from his upcoming mixtape due to be released in the coming months. Harlem based rapper A$AP Rocky continued his practice of dropping groundbreaking visuals with this morning’s release of the video for “Wassup”, from his popular debut mixtape “LiveLoveA$AP”. Rocky teamed up with Vice magazine’s Andy Capper, and both developed an interesting, if not controversial concept which combines elements of the movies Scarface, Belly, Enter The Dragon, The Warriors, and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. The video definitely continues in the direction Rocky has been going with his past videos, starting with “Purple Swag”, in the sense that there are still plenty of 40′s, thrifted Versace print shirts, and gold fronts. As many other brands are, OriginalFake is readying the upcoming 2012 Spring/Summer season with this collection. With the exception of their standard graphic t-shirts, much of the collection has crewnecks, vests and jackets incorporated into the series. Givenchy releases their pre fall 2012 collection which was presented by Riccardo Tisci and features two models, Simone Nobili and Willy Cartier. The pieces were inspired by “sharks, marines and surfers in the night” mix tailoring along with some utilitarian aspects which is right up their alley.
