NEW: Burberry Prorsum Shirts x Summer/Spring 2012
Bold prints made a big impression at Burberry Prorsum this season, with the bright colours providing a stylish counterpoint to the label’s traditionally muted palette. This shirt’s graphic pattern has a hand-drawn, tribal influence that gives it a distinctive edge. The shades of brown/dark orange and gray/blue which will make for a great look with a solid pair of chinos, recalling the hazy heat of a sub-Saharan summer.

LOOKBOOK: Givenchy x Pre-Fall 2012 Collection
Givenchy releases their pre fall 2012 collection which was presented by Riccardo Tisci and features two models, Simone Nobili and Willy Cartier. The pieces were inspired by “sharks, marines and surfers in the night” mix tailoring along with some utilitarian aspects which is right up their alley. Even though it will be awhile before the collection releases, seeing that it is a “pre” fall collection, take a look at the rest of the lookbook below:
sB!: Zeak’s A.P.C Jean Sand Wash
During my vacation in Jamaica, I visited Dunns River Falls and decided this would be the most opportune time to get a great sand wash at the beach. I’ve only had them for about 5 months now, which is a pretty decent age for washing raw denim jeans. Many people wait after 5 months, a year and you have those who don’t wash their jeans at all. As you look through the pictures, you’ll notice how distressed and worn the jeans become after sand washing; the honeycombs, whiskers, even the pocket areas.
I was pleased with the results of the wash. One big complaint people have with their jeans post-beach wash is stinky saltwater musks. Personally didn’t experience any adverse odours since the wash.

SNEAKERS: Royal Blue Foamposites Release
It seems like Nike has decided to release a lot of foamposite retros. So far we’ve had the Coppers, Pearls, and the Eggplants and the Pewters will be releasing sometime soon. But thats besides the point, the royal blue foamposites are set to release sometime in February 2011. The last time these were seen in stores was back in 2007. For those who missed out on them, your chance at them will soon be here.
SNEAKERS: Air Jordan 3 Doernbecher
Yesterday we finally got to see the entire 2010 Nike Doernbecher Freestyle collection, kids, and designers. As you know, Cole Johanson, age 11, is the kid that designed the Air Jordan 3, along with help from Jason Mayden and Jake Van Damm. The shoes feature a varsity red/metallic silver/black colorway, and the most notable feature is the clear outsole. Like the previous years, the Jordan shoe is always the most anticipated shoe from the Nike Doernbecher collection. Jordan heads and supporters of Nike’s Doernbecher Freestyle will have a shot at getting the Jordans when they drop on December 11th at Niketown locations and Nike.com.

Kanye West: Power (Video Screenshot)

Tyler Perry Controversy
Word is Tyler Perry fired his entire staff a couple days back prior to the last episode of The Boondocks. Last week’s episode basically exposed a side of Tyler Perry no one was aware of. The show portrayed him as a gay man and how he lives an “over the top” lifestyle. I guess we won’t be expecting any more of his movies/plays.
UPDATE: Tyler Perry’s statement in response to the rumors:
Just like the Spike Lee situation, I feel that “no response” is the best response. I’m just gonna leave it at that…
But I will tell you this… there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that I’m suing The Boondocks. Those are all lies. I’m not suing anybody over that.
And I haven’t fired anyone because of that show either. I don’t know where all that came from.
Air Jordan 7 White/Orion
Today we have a preview of newest retro 7′s. It seems like everyone is excited about the Retro White Cement 3′s releasing in 2011. Along with those, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan Orion 7′s. Sometime near the end of this year, the Cool Grey 11′s will be releasing so keep a head up on those.

Rocksmith Spring/Summer 2010 Collection
Rocksmith presents a first look at their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. The Rocksmith team spends their afternoon on their way to CDR in Brooklyn. While on their way they had a photographer snapping shots at them rocking their new Spring/Summer Collection. Kudos to the photographer (unknown). DOPE photo shoot. Their product includes New Era Snapback hat, tees and vests.
