Givenchy releases their pre fall 2012 collection which was presented by Riccardo Tisci and features two models, Simone Nobili and Willy Cartier. The pieces were inspired by “sharks, marines and surfers in the night” mix tailoring along with some utilitarian aspects which is right up their alley. Even though it will be awhile before the collection releases, seeing that it is a “pre” fall collection, take a look at the rest of the lookbook below:

sB!: Zeak’s A.P.C Jean Sand Wash

During my vacation in Jamaica, I visited Dunns River Falls and decided this would be the most opportune time to get a great sand wash at the beach. I’ve only had them for about 5 months now, which is a pretty decent age for washing raw denim jeans. Many people wait after 5 months, a year and you have those who don’t wash their jeans at all. As you look through the pictures, you’ll notice how distressed and worn the jeans become after sand washing; the honeycombs, whiskers, even the pocket areas.

I was pleased with the results of the wash. One big complaint people have with their jeans post-beach wash is stinky saltwater musks. Personally didn’t experience any adverse odours since the wash.

After taking a dip in the beautiful blue ocean, I gave them a good sand wash. (Procedure repeated multiple times)

Constant saturation here, as I rub them in for about 5 minutes or so. Make sure I covered the areas that I wanted to show more “wear and tear”.

LOL don’t mind me. You can see the areas of distress in the whiskers. After swimming in the jeans, rubbing with sand, and rinsing, I let them air dry on the nearby tree.

SNEAKERS: Royal Blue Foamposites Release
