DOCUMENTARY: Vice Magazine x “How to Sell Drugs”
Vice Magazine bills itself as specializing in “unabashed depravity and going places we don’t belong” and they do it well in print form as well as through their YouTube channel, which is host to many interesting documentaries on a wide array of topics, ranging from homeless subway performers to going to America’s biggest dog show on LSD. This particular short documentary focuses on a New York drug dealer and his operation that clears approximately $60,000 weekly. The dealer and his crew run a delivery service and move everything from molly to shrooms and cocaine, along with generous amounts of weed. Take 20 minutes of your time and watch this interesting short below & leave your feedback in the comments or @spoiledbroke on twitter.

AUDIO: Kanye West – Theraflu (Feat. DJ Khaled)
Earlier today, Kanye West dropped by the Hot 97 studios and blessed Funkmaster Flex and the airwaves with a new track, supposedly from either DJ Khaled’s upcoming project “Kiss the Ring” or the highly anticipated G.O.O.D Music compilation project. Either way, it was a pleasant surprise to hear new music from Kanye, but even more surprising are the subliminal jabs Kanye stuck in the record. He makes subtle references to Amber Rose, directly mentions Wiz Khalifa by name with the line “The whole industry wanna fuck your old chick, only nigga I got respect for is Wiz” He goes on to make another even more provacative remark, about Kim Kardashian, that many are interpreting as a shot at Kris Humpries. “And I’ll admit, I fell in love with Kim, around the same time she had fell in love with him……….well that’s cool babygirl do your thing, lucky I ain’t have Jay drop him from the team”. The team that ‘Ye seems to be referring to is the New Jersey Nets (soon to be Brooklyn Nets), which Jay-Z is co-owner of, and also where Kris Humpries, who is Kardashian’s ex-husband, plays. It’s great to have new content from Kanye to hold us over until the first single from the G.O.O.D. Music project drops on Friday, the 6th, and it’ll definitely be interesting to see how these potential disses will be addressed in the coming days. Take a listen below.
VIDEO: Supreme New York x S/S 2012 “Pizza Face” Preview
Coordinating with the announcement of the Supreme spring/summer 2012 line, Supreme has dropped a super trippy visual to accompany the collection. The video features a skater with a distorted face, and a reel of some of the most psychedelic footage I’ve seen since my last acid trip. Many have criticized the brand for a variety of reasons, but I have to respect them for their creative marketing campaigns, a la the Kate Moss/Supreme billboards plastered all over the Lower East Side of New York. Check out the video below, and the new collection releases 2/23 in the NY & LA locations.
VIDEO: A$AP Rocky x Wassup
Harlem based rapper A$AP Rocky continued his practice of dropping groundbreaking visuals with this morning’s release of the video for “Wassup”, from his popular debut mixtape “LiveLoveA$AP”. Rocky teamed up with Vice magazine’s Andy Capper, and both developed an interesting, if not controversial concept which combines elements of the movies Scarface, Belly, Enter The Dragon, The Warriors, and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. The video definitely continues in the direction Rocky has been going with his past videos, starting with “Purple Swag”, in the sense that there are still plenty of 40′s, thrifted Versace print shirts, and gold fronts. Check out the trippy video below.
