NEWS: Kanye West Presents: Cruel Summer (Album and Short Film)
Days ago Kanye West, at a press release, revealed the titles of his upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation album Cruel Summer along with a short film inspired by the album under the same title. This first product of Kanye’s DONDA initiative is set to debut May 23 at the Cannes Film Festival, and publicly on May 24th and 25th via ticket purchases available now. With the newly signed 2 Chainz and Teyana Taylor we’re def juiced to see what both projects have in store.
NEWS: Pharrell Williams New Label ‘i am OTHER’
Leah LaBelle, Buddy, Maxine Ashley and Alyssa Bernal are all members of Pharrell’s new label ‘i am OTHER’ just recently revealed. It’s interesting that he took the approach to make a promo video since others mostly just announce it via social networks. What do you all think of his label and reveal..corny or poppin?
NEWS: Teyana Taylor Signs To G.O.O.D. Music
Kanye is making big moves and has been expanding his label in a good way. A few days ago news hit that 2 Chainz signed to Ye’s label, which was rumored once the “Mercy” track debuted. Now it’s official that singer and dancer, Teyana Taylor, has joined the crew too as the first lady. She’s already worked with him on his “Christmas In Harlem” song that was released a few years back with his G.O.O.D. Fridays. Be on the lookout for an album from her later this year…

EVENT: Chris Brown + Ron English x DUM ENGLISH Launch @ Cory Helford Gallery
Chris Brown artist Ron English linked up for a collaborative “DUM ENGLISH” limited edition toy launch. The two artists joined forces to celebrate the launch of the Garageworks Industries and Made by Monsters production, signing autographs and also painting a life-size DUM ENGLISH astronaut sculpture.
