AUDIO: Big Sean – Two Can Win
A J. Dilla tribute was given by Big Sean with this track “Two Can Win”. Nice to hear some new material from the Detroit native while he’s on tour with Trey Songz. Check out what he said about the track below:
In honor of J. Dilla being one of the most influential producers of all time, I decided to lay a verse to one of my favorite tracks off of J. Dilla’s Donuts. Being from Detroit I feel I have a responsibility to honor his legacy n continue it in my own way. His soul will live forever… RIP J. Dilla

LIVE: A$AP Rocky @ TLA (Philadelphia, PA)
As we mentioned yesterday…the whole A$AP Mob was at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philly last night and shut the whole thing down. They swagged it out form beginning to the end. They brought out the Philly natives, Young Chris and Freeway of course. Then ended with a bang performing “Peso” while splashing water, crowd surfing, and more. These guys definitely know how to perform and anyone who hasn’t seen them yet check out their remaining tour dates to make your way there A$AP!
At the very end of the show…the A$AP crew came back out to sawg it out on stage and dap up the fans. Their DJ A$AP J Scott dropped some old school Dipset “I Really Mean It” and Rocky rapped word from word the whole track. It was really dope to see the Harlem native pay respects to the Harlem OG’s. You can really tell he is humbled by his new found fame and success and he stated “We’re just some regular niggas just like ya’ll”. They killed it as if they been doing it for years…but we all can tell that this tour is the first of many and he spoke of a ScHoolBoy Q collab mixtape as well. So hopefully that trill idea will turn into reality…stay tuned for more footage to be added as well. (more…)

VIDEO: Jay-Z & Kanye West – Niggas In Paris
Well we have all been waiting for this to drop and it’s not what we expected to say the least. As everyone knows, the duo had an amazing Watch The Throne tour that was one for the books and performed “Niggas In Paris” countless number of times. So they took that for the official music video which was directed by Kanye West. A number of people are disappointed in hopes that this would be a little more crazy and off the wall rather than settling for concert footage. It is what it is, the song and performance was still dope nonetheless and what Ye added to the video.
AUDIO: Sir Michael Rocks – Imagine + Out The Jam
Mikey Rocks gives us some new music which is always dopeness to our ears with his unique and one of a kind flow. The other half of The Cool Kids drops two tracks, one called “Imagine” and the other “Out The Jam”. The first track has a mean beat which was produced by Cardo and Mikey composes and real catchy laid back hook. As for the second track, it was produced Monsta Beatz and Mikey somewhat speeds up his flow which adds a nice touch that we rarely get from him. Recommended download for both.

VIDEO: A$AP Rocky x Wassup
Harlem based rapper A$AP Rocky continued his practice of dropping groundbreaking visuals with this morning’s release of the video for “Wassup”, from his popular debut mixtape “LiveLoveA$AP”. Rocky teamed up with Vice magazine’s Andy Capper, and both developed an interesting, if not controversial concept which combines elements of the movies Scarface, Belly, Enter The Dragon, The Warriors, and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. The video definitely continues in the direction Rocky has been going with his past videos, starting with “Purple Swag”, in the sense that there are still plenty of 40′s, thrifted Versace print shirts, and gold fronts. Check out the trippy video below.
