EVENT: 54th Grammy Awards x Red Carpet

The 54th annual Grammy awards was one for the books. From the beginning to the end, the stars and performances were incredible. Even while everyone was dealing with the sudden tragic passing of music legend Whitney Houston just last night, a mini tribute to her by the one and only Jennifer Hudson somehow made it all better. The anticipating performance of the return of Adele was one that shut the house down. Killing her performance and winning a total of six grammys proved to be her night, one she definitely deserved. Other great performances included Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Coldplay with Rihanna, Paul McCartney and the comeback of The Beach Boys are just a few of many others. Nicki Minaj had an interesting performance as well to say the least. Anyway, much of the winners were well deserved. Jay-Z and Kanye, who weren’t in attendance, won a Grammy for “Otis” and Chris Brown won a Grammy for “F.A.M.E.”. Take a look a few celebs who hit the red carpet…

Check out a sneak peak at the new collection of the collaboration “Bee Line” including Pharrell Williams’ BBC line and Mark McNairy. An idea sprung into an entire capsule collection, which we aren’t upset about.

The line of luxury gear was born out of a conversation Williams and McNairy had over a possible boot collaboration that turned into a full capsule collection. Even the collection’s name, Bee Line, has noble ties as Williams was inspired by Napoleon’s decision to replace fleur-de-lis with the insect as France’s royal symbol. Most categories of menswear are covered in the assortment, from outerwear to boots, and all of the gear is made in the USA save for the sweaters woven in Scottish mills.

LIVE: A$AP Rocky @ TLA (Philadelphia, PA)

As we mentioned yesterday…the whole A$AP Mob was at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philly last night and shut the whole thing down. They swagged it out form beginning to the end. They brought out the Philly natives, Young Chris and Freeway of course. Then ended with a bang performing “Peso” while splashing water, crowd surfing, and more. These guys definitely know how to perform and anyone who hasn’t seen them yet check out their remaining tour dates to make your way there A$AP!

At the very end of the show…the A$AP crew came back out to sawg it out on stage and dap up the fans. Their DJ A$AP J Scott dropped some old school Dipset “I Really Mean It” and Rocky rapped word from word the whole track. It was really dope to see the Harlem native pay respects to the Harlem OG’s. You can really tell he is humbled by his new found fame and success and he stated “We’re just some regular niggas just like ya’ll”. They killed it as if they been doing it for years…but we all can tell that this tour is the first of many and he spoke of a ScHoolBoy Q collab mixtape as well. So hopefully that trill idea will turn into reality…stay tuned for more footage to be added as well.
