He shares his disappointments with his previous album, his current relationship status, the lack of respect within the Been Trill/Hood By Air beef, psychedelics, A$AP Yams and more. Peep an excerpt when he was asked about former girlfriend, Iggy Azalea:
OK, let’s go back to an old relationship: How do you feel about the criticism of Iggy Azalea for not being an “authentic” rapper?
That [situation with Iggy] is unfortunate because nobody wants to be portrayed that way. I’m quite sure she doesn’t. I think she works hard like the rest of us. Silly or not, 300 million people like to watch it on YouTube, so who the fuck are we to say anything?
So you don’t think the criticism is fair?
It comes with the game. If she fake on something, somebody is going to call her bluff. That’s life. I’m not looking at it from a standpoint of “I used to be boning this chick’s back out.” I’m looking at it [as] “She’s just a person.” You can’t bluff. You gotta just be 100. That’s all I could really say. The question is: Was she not being 100 about something?

For his “King Unchained” digital cover story with VIBE magazine, Tyga tells all in his exclusive cover story interview. Things doesn’t seem to be running to smoothly over at the YMCMB camp. First Lil Twist voiced his concerns with the release of his music and his management and recently Tyga vented his frustrations with them as well, hinting he might leave the group too. Now, the Cali rapper reveals even more about what’s really going on and even calls out Drake and Nicki Minaj too. It has been reported that Nicki unfollowed Tyga on Twitter after his rant. Check out what Tyga told VIBE about how he’s been feeling since signing with Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment label, his recent work with Kanye West, friendship with Chris Brown, relationship with Blac Chyna and Kylie Jenner. Read the full interview here.
Is Young Money a part of the creative process on this album?
Nah. I tend to distance myself from them.
Are you trying to break out on your own?
Yeah, I’m tryna’ go independent. I don’t really get along with Drake. I don’t really get along with Nicki.
I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda’ like we were forcing relationships together. It is what it is. But I been friends with Chris [Brown] for like six years. That’s my real genuine friend. We hang out all the time. He lives up the street from me, so we don’t just do music we hang. I think being signed to Young Money, everybody felt like they had to force a relationship ‘cause Wayne put us together. At the end of the day the reason why I signed to Young Money is because of Wayne. Not because of Drake, not because of Nicki. It was because of Wayne and my relationship with him. I try to be cool with everybody, but sometimes, everybody just has different personalities, motives, and different characters. When you realize that, you realize that’s not a place where you want to continue to grow.

Kanye West graces the cover of GQ magazine’s August 2014 issue. Ye’s cover interview has been getting a lot of buzz as he addresses a lot of things that people have been dying to know. He spoke on why he married Kim, how he felt about Jay-Z and Beyonce not attending his wedding and much more. Check out the entire interview here and the cover spread shot by photographer, Patrick Demarchelier, after the break.
Why’d you decide to get married?
Saying “Hey, I like Kim” isn’t as inspiring to people as us getting married. And anyone that’s in a relationship knows that in order to get to the point to get married and then to be married and to then carry on, it needs that work put into it. Right now, people look at it and it’s like, “Wow, that’s inspiring.” Meaning that love is infectious. You know, God is infectious—God flowing through us and us being little-baby creators and shit. But His energy and His love and what He wants us to have as people and the way He wants us to love each other, that is infectious. Like they said inStep Brothers: Never lose your dinosaur. This is the ultimate example of a person never losing his dinosaur. Meaning that even as I grew in cultural awareness and respect and was put higher in the class system in some way for being this musician, I never lost my dinosaur.
Kim is this girl who fucking turns me on. I love her. This is who I want to be next to and be around. And then people would try to say, “Well, you know, if you’re a musician, you should be with a musician, and if you want to design, you need to be with a girl from the design world.” I don’t give a fuck about people’s opinions. Because when a kid falls in love with an airplane or a bike or a dinosaur—especially if you’re an only child and it’s not because of the book that the sibling was reading—it’s like, fuck, you mean to tell me that the dinosaurs walked the earth and stuff like that?! That’s amazing! You mean to tell me that these giant multi-ton crafts can fly that fast and that loud, and they can flip, and there’s danger, the possibility of them exploding? That’s fucking cool! You mean to tell me that this girl with this fucking body and this face is also into style, and she’s a nice person, and she has her own money and is family-oriented? That’s just as cool as a fucking fighter jet or dinosaur! And just as rarely seen.
