MOVIES: Sony Pictures Sets Release Dates for ‘Bad Boys 3’ + ‘Bad Boys 4’


Since last year, a follow up to the comedy drama Bad Boy series had been confirmed by one of the duo stars, Martin Lawrence. Now, Sony Pictures gives fans actual release dates to look forward too after waiting for 12 years. As for the third installment of the series, Bad Boys 3 is set to hit theaters on February 17, 2017. Bad Boys 4 has been giving the release date of July 3, 2019. No confirmation as of yet whether or not Martin and his co-star, Will Smith, will return for the roles of Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett or if there will be new main characters that will act as spinoffs. Hopefully the two comedians make an appearance at the least and these next two films do the previous box office hits justice.

MOVIES: Barbershop 3 Sets 2016 Release Date


According to VarietyBarbershop 3 has an official release date for when the Ice Cube film will it theaters. The trilogy is set to release on February 16, 2016. Most recently, it was revealed that Queens rapper, Nicki Minaj, is casted to star in the film as well. Original cast members, such as, Cedric The Entertainer, will be making their return for the comedy film.


NEWS: Kanye West & Jay-Z Co-Produces Chris Rock Movie


Chris Rock’s latest film, Top Five, is being co-produced by hip-hop brothers, Kanye West and Jay-Z. Chris Rock, who is the writer, director and star of the film, is even signing on The Roots’ Questlove, to serve as the film’s executive music producer. Deadline.com reports other stars featured in the movie include: Rosario Dawson, Gabrielle Union, Kevin Hart, Tracy Morgan, Cedric The Entertainer, J.B. Smoove, Sherri Shepherd, Anders Holm, Romany Malco, Leslie Jones, Michael Che, and Jay Pharoah. Stay tuned for the official theatre release date.


MOVIES: Home (Trailer) [Starring Rihanna & Jim Parsons]


Dreamworks presents the animated film, “Home”, that stars singer Rihanna (as Tip) and Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons (as Oh). The featured film also stars Jennifer Lopez and Steve Martin. Set for theaters November 26th, the film was directed by Tim Johnson. Read the synopsis of the animated film below:

“When Earth is taken over by the overly confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated, while all Boov get busy reorganizing the planet. But when one resourceful girl, Tip, manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov named Oh. The two fugitives realizes there’s a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime.”


MOVIES: Dumb and Dumber To (Trailer)


Two decades later, the sequel to the classic comedy “Dumb and Dumber” is arriving. Featuring the original comedians, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, is the first clue that the sequel won’t be a disappointment. The plot of the film involves the two dimwitted buddies are set out on a journey to find a long lost relative in hopes to get a new kidney. Directed by brothers, Bobby and Peter Farrelly, “Dumb and Dumber To” will be in theaters November 14th 2014. Crossing paths with friends, family, and strangers, Oscar starts out well, but as the day goes on, he realizes that change is not going to come easily. His resolve takes a tragic turn, however, when BART officers shoot him in cold blood at the Fruitvale subway stop on New Year’s Day. Never thought you’d hear a line-up in a video with those names, huh? Neither did we. However, NIKE thought of a cool way to combine these Kings of the court, of music, and of movies, into a single video about Kobe Bryant a.k.a “The Black Mamba.” The “movie” is set to drop February 19th so keep an eye out for it on the NIKE website.
