As always, ahead of the game, Google never stops running! And we love it. After releasing Google Glass last year, you can simply guess where they’re taking their talents to next, and we’re not talking South Beach. Yes, a technological contact lens. Although it doesn’t serve the same purpose as Glass, this project is unique in its own way that measures glucose in tears using a wireless chip and miniaturized glucose sensor. While at a very early stage, Google hopes the technology could help people manage diabetes better. For those who were unaware, those diagnosed with diabetes in order to check their glucose levels are opted to prick their finger to complete a blood test. Google X works on extremely innovative, long term, but yet risky developments that may not become commercially successful but has extreme potential to change the way of living, for example- Google Glass, autonomous cars, and now this. Now that smart contact lens are being developed, imagine how much easier life would be? Check it out below!

Logitech creates the “Powershell” that turns any iPhone 5/5s or 5th generation iPod touch into a gaming handheld. This is one of the most creative things that could’ve been produced for any phone, let alone the most popular, and we know it will do numbers. We definitely didn’t see this coming, especially from Logitech. The handheld has a built-in 1500 mAh battery to expand the power of the Apple product and offers a 3.5mm headphone adapter, which is the ability to charge the phone in the Powershell itself. This is now available for preorder for only $99 online here.
