Menace releases their “Sex, Drugs, & Rock n’ Roll” 2015 Summer collection lookbook. Inspired by the 60’s-70’s era, the collection touches on multiple subjects that coincide with the time. Sex, drugs, and the rebellious counterculture were the lasting impressions left by the 60’s-70’s. This rebellious spirit was only pushed forward by being endorsed by the rock n’ roll rockstars of that time and America has never really shaken off the effects. The “fuck authority” attitude, recreational drug use, and free-spirited/open-minded attitudes in the youth are still prevalent. The 60’s-70’s were a time of self-fulfillment and most importantly they gave birth to multiple outlets of creativity and leisure. This was our homage to a time of sex-crazed & drug-induced dreamers and rebellious spirits alike. Check out the lookbook, shot by Ivan Argueta, below and shop the collection at their online shop. MENACE © drops their first delivery of their 2015 Spring Collection lookbook, which was inspired by the early days of hip-hop as well as the early days of streetwear. The Los Angeles brand debuts their first high-end piece, which is the “Street Veteran” Bomber Jacket, now available for preorder. The meaning behind ‘In Loving Memory’ and ‘Better Dayz’, is to highlight hip-hop music from 1990-2004 as people often say current rap is not how it used to be. MENACE also pays homage legendary West Coast rap group, N.W.A. as they incorporate their classic phrase “FUCK AROUND AND GET SMOKED”. Stay tuned for the second delivery coming soon and shop the first installment at their online shop.
