YG is feeling some type a way about the 57th Annual Grammy nominations for Best Rap Album, and he has every right to. My Krazy Life is arguably one of if not the best rap album of 2014. In his new track, “2015 Flow” produced by DJ Mustard, YG proves why he should be on that Grammy list next year. We hope they get it right next year. In the meantime, the Bompton rappers serves us his mini film and soundtrack for, Blame It On The Streets, on December 15th.
YG is one of the few young rappers out that really works hard on the quality of work he puts out. The Bompton rapper stops by Power 105.1’s, The Breakfast Club, to share more details on his upcoming 30-minute mini film called ‘Blame It On The Streets’. Although the interview is only nearly 10-minutes long, it’s interesting to get more insight on the making of his upcoming film along with its soundtrack. Set to drop December 15th, YG reveals that the film is starring Rick Gonzalez, Jade Yorker and Camilla Poindexter from the Bad Girls Club.
YG drops another official music video off his My Krazy Life, this time for “Do It To Ya” featuring TeeFLii. As summer is officially over, YG gives us a great video to close out the season with a throwback 90’s VHS quality video. Directed by Alex Nazari.
In case you missed it this past weekend, we have YG’s live set at Budweiser’s Made In America at the main stage at in Philadelphia. The Bompton native turned up on stage and did his hits from his My Crazy Life album, such as “My Nigga”, “Bicken Back Bein Bool”, “Who Do You Love” and more. YG also performed his verse from Jeremih’s “Don’t Tell Em”, Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot Nigga” and Meek’s “Dreams & Nightmares (Intro)”. Watch the 30minute set below:
Bompton’s YG, was featured in Flaunt magazine’s “Back To School” Issue 136. Amongst many others including: Tyga and Pharrell Williams, the issue includes some photos of YG showcasing his fashion. G-Star RAW was the main designer, YG wore for the shoot. Check out his interview here.

I mean, you can do it but that shit don’t mean nothing [any]more. It’s like… ‘Oh he did what everybody else did.’ You get on it and keep doing the same thing that got you there. That’s when it means something to the world. That’s when you inspire.”
