R.I.P. Dj AM.
i was shocked by this news. and i actually just heard of it a few minutes ago through twitter.
Dj AM, AKA Adam Goldstein, was found dead this morning in an apartment on Lafayette Street in Manhattan. Sources said drug paraphernalia was found in the apartment.
Now I know our blog is about fly shit and pop culture and all, but this is a major thing. The reason why is, almost a year ago, this man and well known drummer Travis Barker were in a plane crash in which everyone on board was killed, with the exception of those two. He suffered major burns, but at least he was still alive, by the grace of God.
He was recognized and regarded in the music industry as a great DJ and person. If you never listened to his technique, I’m sure you at least know his name. Now that he’s passed, however, out of respect for his passing, try to listen to some of his performances.

Whiz x Fall/Winter 2009 Collection
Whiz’s upcoming Fall and Winter line involves clean lines and tapered edges with a little bit of cuts and texture here and there. The photography behind the line highlight only the clothes, shadowing out the models as to only draw the eye to the items of clothing. They stray away from very bright and quite honestly, overwhelming, colors and only choose those that represent the relax yet fashionable sense they seem to have.
