MAGAZINE: Justin Bieber & Nicki Minaj x Complex (10th Anniversary Issue)

Justin Bieber along with Nicki Minaj help Complex magazine celebrate their 10th anniversary by double covering this issue. For Bieber’s cover he’s “getting physical” and his cover story is called “Second Round KO” which touches on his known bashing and hate that he often gets. Nicki Minaj’s first Complex cover is surely a big one. Her “Self-Possessed” cover story is right up her theatrical alley. She states:

“I came out with Young Money, the biggest hip-hop label in the world at the time. And then it was, ‘How do I branch away from Lil Wayne?’ I’ve just been constantly on this quest to stand alone.”

That alone speaks a lot of her reasoning for her change in style and music that most have become aware and unhappy about, but she’s is simply doing her and shying away from what she was categorized as when she first came on the scene. Check out the remainder and full cover story here.
